First Fire

We finally had one of those freezing Autumn days that was cold enough to let us convince Dad to light a fire. YES! Oh it was glorious, as I'm sure you can imagine. Fireplaces and wood burners and chimneys and wood fires, oh they are just the best in Winter, along with a nice cup of hot chocolate.

Baths, Glorious Baths

With some cold weather, the Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon and some free time, how could I turn down a nice hot bath?

For anyone wanting a nice hot bubble bath I really recommend the Lush Bubble Bars :)

The Rose Jam Bubbleroon smells incredible and makes an insane amount of bubbles.

Now it's winter and we finally have enough water (having to collect your own water in water tanks makes having baths normally quite a rare thing) I'm looking forward to having more baths. They're so relaxing, just take in a good book and you're set for a good hour or so.

Hello Winter

Just as it starts to pour down with rain, my dog decides he wants to go for a walk. So I pull on a Barbour and head on out with him into the rain. No regrets though, I was really missing cold, wet, windy weather. 

Haha I just realised how disappointed and confused Arthur (our dog) looks in these photos, I'm not sure he was too keen about being photographed at the time.
