It's Been A While - Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,

I know it's been so very long since I've written a post and blogged but I've just been so busy and honestly it's seemed like this chore that has been hanging over my head for a while that I've just wanted to avoid. I don't really want to write a post if I'm not honestly feeling up to it because I want to give my best to this blog.

Anyway, I've had a pretty eventful new year, I hope you have too! I've started some new projects that are underway and I'm back at school again working hard.

So the main thing I've been doing recently apart from school work is painting and below you'll find a couple of photos of a painting that I worked on over the new year break.

Artsy Update

It's been an insanely busy time for me recently but things are finally happening and it's all very exciting - it also means that I will have a lot more content to blog about... Anyway, you'll be hearing from me soon hopefully

A Few New Drawings

So I have numerous amounts of gorgeous little notebooks and the other afternoon I picked one up and started drawing. I'm not too sure where my inspiration came from for the first two but I can assure you that the last one is due to my recent viewing of Despicable Me 2. Every time I go watch an animation film at the cinema, I leave with a huge driving passion to be an animator when I'm older and to work for Disney Animation Studios. I'm not sure how that'll end up working out but regardless, it led me to draw one of minions from Despicable Me 2. I'm about 50% sure this is Kevin but after quite a while googling it, I couldn't quite figure out which minion was which.

So to keep my creativity up whilst I'm back at school I purchased these lovely little notebooks, one lined and one unlined, from a little boutique stationery shop up north.Hopefully they will keep me writing and drawing whilst I'm back at school. 

In other news I recently found some photos of my Grandmother (she was absolutely stunning, breathtakingly beautiful) and I'm planning on using them as inspiration and reference for some upcoming art pieces, not that I've yet finished my last upcoming art pieces. Ah well. Things like this take time for me, but I can assure you something creative should be up here soon.

I've been working on many different pieces of art over the Christmas season and New Year but most of them are still unfinished.
