Currently brainstorming and considering the possibility of doing a cover of some sorts... maybe... and in the process I rediscovered this song.

Your House Is Burning Down...
An awful thought, I know, but none the less it triggers an interesting question: what would you try to save?
Here is what (after careful consideration) I would try to save if my house was burning down:
Here is what (after careful consideration) I would try to save if my house was burning down:
Henry the teddy.
Jewelry from my Grandmother.
My box of knickknacks and memories.
Art books.
Wallet.
iPod.
Headphones.
Laptop.
Kindle.
Phone.
Now I think about again I'd also grab my boat shoes, a pair of jeans, the shirt Christian gave me for one of my birthdays, the scarf he knitted me and my Mumford and Sons shirt because they all hold sentimental value or I just love them... :p
What would you save?

An Old Friend
She hadn't visited in a while. I thought I was rid of her. Apparently not. I welcomed her with open arms though, and she buried herself deep into my chest, filling up the cavity, devouring what was previously there. Consuming me. I had forgotten how it felt, how addictive was, that certain sadness. Some of you may know her, a demon disguised as an angel, all dressed in white. Hollowness disguised as purity. Darkness disguised in light. Pain disguised as relief and distraction. She possesses you. She crawls inside your mind, filling the spaces from your bitten fingernails to the ends of your split hairs. She will never disappear, at least not without leaving scars. I thought she was gone for good. I thought I'd conquered her. I thought... well that doesn't matter now, does it? Because she's back. I'd like to think this time I won't let her win, but I can already feel her taking over...
Goodbye.
Goodbye.

Encouragement
So to keep my creativity up whilst I'm back at school I purchased these lovely little notebooks, one lined and one unlined, from a little boutique stationery shop up north.Hopefully they will keep me writing and drawing whilst I'm back at school.
In other news I recently found some photos of my Grandmother (she was absolutely stunning, breathtakingly beautiful) and I'm planning on using them as inspiration and reference for some upcoming art pieces, not that I've yet finished my last upcoming art pieces. Ah well. Things like this take time for me, but I can assure you something creative should be up here soon.
xx
